Terra Insula

October 5 – October 13 2021

In 1921, a Danish couple, Doctors Marie and August Krogh, brought the chemical formula for insulin to Europe. Medication with insulin revolutionized the lives of millions of diabetics. To mark the centenary of its arrival in Europe, Novo Nordisk and Le Bicolore joined forces to tell the story of insulin. The exhibition takes visitors on a journey of discovery, exploring the scientific innovations that led to the development of insulin as a treatment. Join the Danish pharmaceuticals firm Novo Nordisk in reflecting on new patient-focused research avenues that raise wider social issues.
